It wasn't long that Chris was throwing shade — and bottles — in Drake’s direction but things have changed. Last week Chris dropped major hints that he was ready to hit the studio with Drake and now we know why!
Drake‘s new album, Nothing Was The Same, is topping the Billboard charts, and his former rival Chris brown is taking notice. Chris has been playing Drake’s new album and he’s super impressed with it — so impressed, in fact, that he would even be “open to” recording with Drake, sources say.

When Chris, 24, posted an old video of himself and drake,26,laughing in a recording stoudio, people started to wonder if he was angling for a collaboration with his former nemesis — and it turned out to be true!
Chris is totally down to work with Drake, and sources say,“He’s open to that idea. His favourite album right now is Nothing Was The Same. It’s a hot album and it’s doing well and he’s got respect for Drake,” sources reveal.“He’s all about coming out with banging new music and making history, and he’s not opposed to that idea. But now, you know, he’s trying to get X out there and that’s all on his agenda.”
It sounds like there’s still some healthy competition between the two entertainers, and would love to see them team up when the time is right!
Drake and Chris was seen togather laughing and drinking backstage at iheartRadio music festival in las vagas on sept.21.
On Sept. 26 their feud was over. “He and Drake ain’t got no more issues. They’re cool. They’re not trying be at war anymore — it’s about squashing all that drama and making money and shelling out hits,” sources say.
This is certainly a much better outcome than most hip-hop feuds. It's nice to see Chris and Drake’s maturity and can’t wait to hear what they come up with in the studio!
